single long pillow annoying sensor light
The room had this single long pillow. It resembled a sausage. This made sleeping a bit of a challenge I must say. Plus there was a sensor light doing its best to turn the room into a disco every time someone wandered by the door. I started feeling like I was living in a perpetual state of almost awake.

Enchanting Stay in Akihabara
personalised sleep great amenities open bar balcony views
The onsen was a haven. I particularly loved the personalised sleep options with the pillow selections and pajamas, it felt indulgent. A great range of amenities was available, vending machines, a money exchange machine, and curated recommendations. The welcome drinks at the open bar from 6pm to 10pm created a relaxing end to each day. The balcony views at night were especially nice.
A sensor light in the room was sensitive! My husband's late return would sometimes wake me.

The location proved amazing for exploring the city. The hotel had convenient access to the subway system. I enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks available each evening. The onsen (I used it every day!) was a great addition after a long day.
The single elevator caused significant waiting times, especially during peak hours.

i appreciated the complimentary drinks in the lounge. i also found the staff to be very kind and helpful. i liked that guests could take five free amenities per day.. the hotel was a quick walk from the station.
the room was so small i couldn't even open the suitcase fully. the window is for a ventilation pier and not for the outside. the shower was also cramped.
